Hotel del Parque occupies a restored nineteenth-century property within Parque Histórico, in Samborondón near Guayaquil. Interiors by Julio Vinueza combine contemporary design with references to the building’s Republican-era architecture. Two inner courtyards contain fountains and tropical plants. The spa occupies the historic chapel’s bell tower, where restored wooden beams accompany views across the gardens. A gym and reading room provide further spaces within the hotel. Casa Julián serves chef Santiago Nieto’s Ecuadorian cooking, while private dinners can be arranged on the river dock or in the park. Chocolate tasting and coffee roasting extend the property’s food experiences beyond the restaurant.
