Hotel Sacher Wien
Austria

Opened in 1876 beside Vienna's State Opera and the Albertina, Hotel Sacher Wien connects a central cultural address with a long hotel tradition. Its 152 individually designed rooms and suites combine classic Viennese interiors with marble bathrooms. Alexandra Winkler and Pierre-Yves Rochon shaped the accommodation, which includes suites with terraces and views towards the opera. The Rote Bar and Grüne Bar restaurants, cafés and bars make food a substantial part of the stay. The Original Sacher-Torte gives the hotel its most recognisable sweet signature, alongside Viennese coffeehouse culture. The Sacher Boutique Spa offers massages and beauty treatments, with a hammam, sauna and fitness room for guests returning from the city's museums and theatres.
