Hotel Simoncini

Hotel Simoncini brings a contemporary art gallery into a central Luxembourg hotel. Paintings, sculpture, etchings and poetry appear across its six floors, with direct corridors connecting the accommodation to the gallery. The project grew from the conversion of the former Schintgen Hotel, reshaping the building to make room for artwork as well as guests. Its Rue Notre Dame address is on the edge of the pedestrian area, close to shops and cultural sites. The gallery's artistic programme gives a stay a connection to exhibitions and creative work beyond the decoration of the guest rooms.
