Hotel Timor stands in central Dili on Avenida Presidente Nicolau Lobato, close to the waterfront and government and commercial addresses. The building’s original project dates to 1972, giving the hotel a history that spans several periods in the capital’s development. Its 88 rooms include suites, while an outdoor swimming pool provides a retreat from the surrounding streets. Meeting rooms cater for business gatherings. The restaurant serves local and international food, with Portuguese influences also reflected in its à la carte offer. A coffee bar provides a place for an informal meeting, while the pool bar serves drinks and lighter meals beside the water.
