Hotel Viking stands at the crest of Bellevue Avenue in Newport, in a landmark building that opened in 1926. Reopened in May 2026 after a substantial renovation, its rooms and suites combine historic references with residential furnishings. Larger suites feature hardwood floors, custom rugs, locally inspired artwork and separate sitting areas, with some offering two bedrooms. Spa Fjör, an indoor pool and a fitness centre provide wellness facilities. The hotel’s renewed dining programme is led by Rhode Island chef Robert Andreozzi. Its central address places Newport’s historic neighbourhoods within reach, with arranged experiences extending to sailing, fishing, mansion visits and the Cliff Walk.
