Jack’s Camp
Botswana

Jack's Camp stands among Botswana's Makgadikgadi Pans, where desert wildlife and immense open space shape the safari. Nine guest tents recreate a vintage expedition style through green canvas, muslin, Persian and North African rugs, brass fittings and mahogany campaign furniture. Each has a living area and a private plunge pool on its deck. Inside the main mess tent, natural-history cabinets, a library and an antique pool table surround a long communal dining table. A swimming-pool pavilion offers shade from the desert heat. Guided activities include game drives, encounters with habituated meerkats and quad biking on the salt pans, with conditions determining what is possible.
