Jade Mountain
Soufrière, Saint Lucia

Jade Mountain rises above the Anse Chastanet estate near Soufrière, with views across the Caribbean towards Saint Lucia’s twin Pitons. Architect Nick Troubetzkoy designed the resort around this panorama, using stone columns, individual bridges and open living spaces to make the landscape an integral part of the building. Accommodation is arranged as sanctuaries rather than conventional enclosed guestrooms. Bedrooms and sitting areas open towards the view, and most sanctuaries incorporate a private infinity pool. The different categories vary in scale and pool size, while the Sky suites offer an alternative with a whirlpool. This open design gives the property its distinctive character and makes the natural setting unusually immediate. The Jade Mountain Club combines dining with another elevated perspective on the coast. Culinary experiences extend to cooking classes, the chocolate laboratory and visits to the estate’s organic farm. Guests also have access to the beaches and activities of Anse Chastanet below, including snorkelling, diving and coastal exploration. The result is a stay shaped by architecture, food and the changing light over the Pitons.
