Jade Mountain
Soufrière, Saint Lucia

Jade Mountain rises above the Anse Chastanet estate near Soufrière, with the Pitons and Caribbean Sea framing its open architecture. Individual bridges lead to the guest sanctuaries, where a missing fourth wall brings the landscape directly into the living space. Stone columns and broad, sculptural forms make the building itself a distinctive part of the stay. Most sanctuaries combine sleeping and living areas with a private infinity pool, creating an unusually continuous relationship between room and water. The Sky category uses a whirlpool bath instead, so accommodation choice matters. Major domos help arrange dining and activities, while the scale and separation of the sanctuaries encourage long periods of private time with the view. The open design also makes changing light, weather and natural sounds part of the experience. At the Jade Mountain Club, dining takes place around an elevated pool, with the Celestial Terrace above offering space for sunset drinks and stargazing. Kai en Ciel provides spa and fitness facilities. Guests also have access to the beaches, restaurants and activities of sister resort Anse Chastanet below, including snorkelling, diving and trails. This combination balances the seclusion of the hillside accommodation with a much wider estate to explore.
