Kabul Star Hotel stands at Zanbaq Square opposite the Turkish Embassy. Founded in 2007, it offers deluxe rooms with sitting space and suites that separate bedroom and living areas. The nine suites include a private Jacuzzi bath, with tea and coffee facilities and central heating and cooling among their amenities. The rooftop swimming pool looks across Kabul, and the hotel has a gym alongside sauna and steam facilities reserved for overnight guests. Shahana Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. A conference hall accommodates up to 300 people at round tables or 500 in a theatre arrangement, giving the hotel considerable space for organised gatherings.
