Kai

Kai at Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass explores Native American food through the heritage of the Akimel O’otham and Pee Posh communities. Its name means “seed” in the Pima language, and ingredients from local growers and the Native Seed/SEARCH programme connect the kitchen with the region’s agricultural traditions. Chef de cuisine Drew Anderson presents a seven-course tasting menu, with choices organised into stages including The Birth, The Beginning, The Journey and The Afterlife. Recent dishes have included elk ragù with heirloom bean pasta and grilled bison tenderloin with cholla buds and saguaro blossom syrup. Desserts continue those regional references, such as prickly pear pâte de fruit or mesquite whipped cream. Wine pairing is available alongside the menu.
