Dining at Kaya Mawa connects meals with the shores of Lake Malawi. Guests can eat beneath the stars with their feet in the sand, while selected rooms and houses offer private dining spaces on decks or among shoreline rocks. The kitchen draws inspiration from seasonal organic produce grown in the lodge's community garden, which guests can visit with the team. Picnic lunches provide another format, with preparations such as homemade bread, hummus, salads and grilled fish. Drinks may include South African wine, Mozambican beer or cocktails using Malawian gin.
