Kei
France

Kei Kobayashi’s Paris restaurant reflects a career shaped by both Japan and the great French kitchens. Born in Nagano and trained with chefs including Gilles Goujon and Alain Ducasse, he brings meticulous presentation and a clear focus on flavour to the dining room on Rue Coq-Héron. The menus offer several levels of exploration, from a shorter lunch to the more extensive Prestige and Horizon experiences. Dishes might combine lobster cooked over binchotan charcoal with sweet pepper, or aged Galician beef with a sauce drawing on the richness of béarnaise. The approach is polished and precise, with carefully chosen ingredients given space to express their individual character.
