Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge is perched above the Kenai River in Cooper Landing. Bungalow-style rooms have natural-wood vaulted ceilings, sitting areas with wood-burning stoves and private porches. The main lodge repeats the timber-and-fireplace character, with a broad deck overlooking the river valley and nearby mountains. Rod & Reel Restaurant and Rafter’s Lounge occupy the main lodge, with casual food and drinks also served on the deck. The tour desk arranges fishing on the Kenai River, rafting and nature hikes, together with wildlife-viewing cruises in Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. The separate bungalows give accommodation a quieter scale than the lodge’s shared social spaces.
