Khmer Village House
Cambodia

Amansara’s Khmer Village House sits in a garden within Angkor Archaeological Park, overlooking Srah Srang, the ancient royal reservoir. The traditional wooden house stands on stilts, offering a small private dining setting separate from the hotel itself. Breakfast can follow an early exploration of the temples, while candlelit dinners feature cooking over charcoal and live Khmer music. The house also hosts hands-on cooking classes, connecting the ingredients and techniques to the meal that follows. One signature is nom ben chok, fresh noodles served with herbs, salad and green curry, prepared over a charcoal clay stove.
