Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh
Pennsylvania

Kimpton Hotel Monaco Pittsburgh occupies the 1903 James H. Reed building across from Mellon Square Park. Its Beaux-Arts exterior gives way to colourful interiors filled with art, sculpture and playful details such as golden birdcage chandeliers. The building previously housed an electric company and, later, the Reed Smith law firm. There are 248 rooms, including 13 suites, with selected suites adding separate living rooms, sofa beds, soaking tubs and skyline views. The Commoner provides the hotel's restaurant and event catering, while a fitness centre supports stays between city outings. Meeting and event spaces extend to more than 11,000 square feet, and the hotel welcomes pets.
