Kinam Hotel combines a traditional Haitian gingerbread building with a newer wing on Place Saint-Pierre in Pétion-Ville. Ornamental balconies, terraces and sloping roofs preserve the character of the older hotel, while contemporary interiors extend through the modern accommodation. Its 118 rooms include 33 vintage rooms and 85 in the newer building, with furnishing and decoration by Haitian artists and workshops. The courtyard pool sits within the vintage part of the property. A gym and Botanik Spa provide further facilities, while the hotel’s restaurants and Tipsy Lounge offer several settings for meals and drinks. The family ownership spans four generations.
