Kyaninga Lodge

Kyaninga Lodge overlooks Lake Kyaninga and the Rwenzori Mountains from nine cottages built on stilts. Private decks face the lake, while marble-clad bathrooms and separate cottage accommodation provide space within the wooded setting. Steps cut from local volcanic rock lead from the main lodge’s decks to the swimming pool and lawn terraces. A wellness centre occupies a platform overlooking the lake, with treatments also available on private balconies. The kitchen prepares daily menus from garden produce and neighbouring markets, served in a dining room furnished with locally made Elgon olive and mvule furniture. Chimpanzee trekking and other wildlife outings can be arranged from the lodge.
