La Corbière Lighthouse

Saint Brélade, Jersey, Channel Islands

La Corbière Lighthouse is one of Jersey’s most photogenic coastal landmarks, set on the island’s south-western corner and reached by a causeway at low tide. The appeal is as much about the approach as the lighthouse itself: exposed rocks, wide horizons and a dramatic Atlantic-facing position that makes the location feel wild and unmistakably maritime. It is especially good at sunset and in changeable weather, when the light and sea conditions become part of the experience. It ranks here because it is a classic Jersey landmark but less of a full-day attraction than the castles or museum sites. Visit Jersey presents it as an iconic sight and one of the island’s must-see spots, and its free-entry status makes it a straightforward addition to a coastal itinerary. Visitors should plan around the tides if walking the causeway.
