La Table Krug at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain is an intimate tasting-menu restaurant created in partnership with the Champagne house. The 16-person dining experience takes inspiration from a French country estate, with the table set using Christofle silver, Bernardaud porcelain and locally handmade Nada pottery. Chef Alexis Knecht, originally from Alsace, shapes an evolving menu that combines culinary tradition with local flavours. The restaurant's wine list and Krug association form part of the experience, while music curated through the Krug Music Experience adds another layer to the room. The small scale keeps the focus on the sequence of dishes and the details of their presentation.
