La Taverne is Hotel Colbert’s formal restaurant in Antananarivo, with a menu balancing classic and creative cooking. Silverware and porcelain table settings accompany a polished dining room, and the kitchen’s French gastronomic direction distinguishes it from the hotel’s more casual brasserie. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and has space for around 80 guests. A smaller Taverne salon can accommodate private meals around a table for ten. Elsewhere in the hotel, Le Cellier offers a wine-cellar setting, while La Fougère serves breakfast and relaxed brasserie food.
