Now presented as LAGO by MGM, this sixth-floor restaurant at Bellagio Shanghai serves creative Italian cooking above the Suzhou River. Studio Munge's interiors bring a contemporary design perspective to the hotel's historic Puxi surroundings, with the river views forming a prominent part of the experience. Chef Iverson Huang leads a kitchen that reworks familiar Italian ideas. The tomato and buffalo cheese salad, for example, uses tomato purée with cheese slices, basil sauce and balsamic vinegar. Dinner is offered throughout the week, with brunch and afternoon tea on selected days. The current identity retains LAGO's Italian focus while giving diners a clear choice between a full evening meal and a more relaxed daytime occasion.
