Lakeside - The Fontenay

Lakeside is the two-Michelin-star restaurant on the top floor of The Fontenay in Hamburg. Chef Julian Stowasser’s menu uses inventive combinations and a light approach, with the dining room’s panoramic windows looking over the Alster and city. A mirrored wall draws further daylight into the restrained interior. The main restaurant accommodates around forty guests, with a separate private dining room for ten. A vegetarian menu is available, and dishes can also be ordered à la carte from the main menu. Dietary requests require advance notice. The intimate size and elevated outlook allow the cooking and the view to share the focus of the experience.
