Lancaster Ballroom at The Savoy
London, United Kingdom
.avif)
At river level within The Savoy, the Lancaster Ballroom pairs Art Deco design with the practical scale of a substantial London event room. Its 476 square metres can be arranged for a wedding ceremony, a dinner with dancing or a conference. The hotel’s position on the Strand places the occasion within easy reach of the West End and the Thames. A built-in stage gives speeches, presentations and live entertainment a clear focal point. The adjoining Parlour Room can be used alongside the ballroom, helping organisers create a sequence of arrivals, receptions and main events. Rather than imposing one format, the room’s layout and styling can be adapted to the number of guests and the balance between dining, dancing and other activities. The Savoy’s event services bring floral design, menu planning and audiovisual production into that process. Dietary requirements can be discussed with the catering team, while the hotel’s florists shape arrangements around the setting and occasion. For guests travelling to London, the wider hotel provides accommodation and dining around the celebration. The ballroom’s combination of a stage, supporting room and distinctive period design is central to its character.
