Lapita’s is the more casual restaurant at Taumeasina Island Resort, just outside Apia. It serves continental and cooked breakfasts, café-style lunches and themed buffets, giving guests a flexible place to eat throughout a stay. A weekly Fia Fia buffet and show brings traditional Samoan food and performance into the dining programme. Reservations are essential for the event, which adds a different character to an otherwise informal restaurant. Lapita’s forms part of a wider resort offering that includes Sina’s Restaurant and Manu Bar. Its role is the everyday gathering place, with breakfast and lunch as much a part of its identity as the cultural evening.
