Laury's Restaurant
West Virginia

Laury’s Restaurant occupies Charleston’s former C&O Railroad Depot, overlooking the Kanawha River and downtown. Established in 1979, it pairs a historic railway setting with contemporary American food influenced by French cooking. Steaks and seafood lead the menu, alongside pasta, salads and house-made desserts. The range includes veal, lamb, duck and shellfish as well as more familiar steakhouse dishes. Side dishes such as artichoke hearts au gratin and creamed spinach reinforce the classical approach, while bananas Foster is prepared tableside. A wine list draws from several international regions, and private dining can be arranged within the restaurant. The combination of river views and the depot’s older architecture gives the meal a distinct Charleston setting.
