Lazy Betty brings Ron Hsu’s cooking to Peachtree Street in Midtown Atlanta. Named in connection with the Hsu family’s mother, Betty, the restaurant draws on her approach to welcoming guests as well as the chef’s international training and travels. An open kitchen lets diners watch the preparation of the meal. Tasting menus are the focus of the dining room, with a vegetarian version available by arrangement. The bar and lounge offer a shorter, four-course tasting experience without a reservation, and a separate dessert tasting provides another way to visit. Menus change according to ingredient availability. This range of formats allows guests to choose between a longer planned dinner and a more spontaneous meal in the bar.
