Le Grand Calao's restaurant serves the lodge on the outskirts of Ouagadougou, near Ouaga 2000. Continental cooking forms the basis of the menu, with dishes adapted to the climate and the produce available at the market. Breakfast, lunch and dinner make it possible to eat on site throughout a stay. The lodge's bar is by reception, with drinks also served beneath the arcades. A separate bar beside the swimming pool gives guests another outdoor setting. Together, the restaurant and bars form a small dining collection within the lodge, allowing a meal or drink to be combined with time in its quieter southern neighbourhood.
