Links House at Royal Dornoch
Dornoch, Highland, Scotland, United Kingdom; Golf Road, Dornoch IV25 3LW
Links House at Royal Dornoch is a specialist hotel in the best sense: compact, elegant and tightly aligned to one of Scotland’s most storied golfing destinations. It is aimed squarely at travellers who want to base themselves beside Royal Dornoch Golf Club while still enjoying a polished, intimate hotel with a strong sense of place. The beach and town centre are both close by, which helps it work as more than a golfer’s bolt-hole. Michelin describes it as a small hotel with serious personality, and that is the right lens for understanding its appeal. Rather than competing with the big country-house resorts on scale, it succeeds through precision: location, atmosphere and a clear fit with Dornoch itself. In a national guide, that makes it a valuable specialist choice and one of the best stays in the far north of mainland Scotland.
