Little Italy Restaurant began in 1996 as a pizzeria in a traditional Tongan fale. It later moved to its present premises beside Little Italy Hotel on Vuna Road in Nuku’alofa, retaining an Italian menu that extends well beyond pizza. Pasta, steaks, fish, seafood and lobster sit alongside vegetarian and gluten-free options. Antipasti draw on ingredients such as prosciutto, salami, artichokes and sun-dried tomatoes, while Italian cheeses include provolone, pecorino and gorgonzola. Italian wines accompany the food. Dinner welcomes visitors as well as hotel guests, while breakfast is reserved for those staying at the property.
