Main Dining Room at The Greenbrier

The Greenbrier’s Main Dining Room continues a tradition of resort dining dating back more than a century. Chandeliers, stately columns and arched windows give the room a formal architectural setting, with breakfast service and dinner on selected evenings. Its cooking combines Southern dishes with American and European classics. Breakfast can be ordered à la carte or taken from a buffet of bakery items, eggs and regional favourites. Distinctive options include West Virginia brook trout with scrambled eggs, buckwheat pancakes and the house’s Greenbrier peaches. Evening menus offer dishes such as Wagyu tenderloin tartare and hamachi and salmon crudo. Dinner reservations and the resort’s dress requirements form part of the more formal evening experience.
