Maison de la Luz now operates as Maison Métier, part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection in New Orleans’ Warehouse District. Its Carondelet Street address is close to Magazine Street’s galleries, shops and restaurants. Rooms and suites draw on Parisian interiors, with large windows, seating areas and marble bathrooms. The Breakfast Room serves sweet and savoury dishes, while Salon Salon offers cocktails and small plates with a private entrance for hotel guests. Guests can also use the rooftop swimming pool and fitness centre at The Barnett, the companion hotel across the street. These shared facilities extend the stay while preserving the smaller hotel’s residential character.
