Mani

Maní serves contemporary Brazilian cooking in a small white house in São Paulo’s Jardim Paulistano. Chefs Helena Rizzo and Willem Vandeven lead a kitchen that combines invention with culinary memory, using organic produce where possible and emphasising seasonality and respect for small rural producers. The menu offers both individual dishes and tasting formats. Examples include cashew ceviche, arracacha and arrowroot gnocchi with tucupi dashi, and a fish moqueca accompanied by rice terrine, pirão and farofa. Desserts bring ingredients such as bacuri, coconut and black tucupi into the same Brazilian vocabulary. A three-course option allows diners to select from the menu, while the longer tasting sequence is ordered by the whole table.
