Marco Polo serves Italian cooking on the 38th floor of Shangri-La Far Eastern, Taipei. The dining room looks across the city, pairing its elevated setting with a menu that changes seasonally while retaining familiar dishes throughout the year. Italian and French wines accompany the food. Executive chef Lance Lin brings experience from kitchens in Australia and Italy to the restaurant, applying contemporary presentation to its Italian foundations. Featured creations include beef tongue, barley pasta with beef tongue and rum baba. A private dining room accommodates 24 guests, while a dedicated table can be arranged for a proposal, making celebrations a defined part of the restaurant's offering.
