Mashpi Lodge stands on a plateau within the cloud forest of Quito’s Pacto parish. Guided exploration connects guests with the Mashpi Reserve through forest walks, birdwatching and visits to waterfalls. The Dragonfly gondola moves above the canopy, while an observation tower, Sky Bike and Life Centre provide other perspectives on the landscape. The lodge combines this field experience with indoor facilities including an expedition room, laboratory, viewing platform and wellness spaces. Its dining room rises through two storeys, with food inspired by Ecuador’s coast, Andes and forest ingredients. The bar’s cocktails also draw on the surrounding forest, carrying the setting into time spent inside.
