Masikryong Hotel forms part of the Masikryong Ski Resort near Wonsan. Its two pyramid-shaped buildings contain 123 rooms, with private balconies overlooking the mountainous surroundings. The accommodation is arranged as a base for the resort rather than a city hotel. Facilities include a swimming pool, café, bookstore and souvenir shop, alongside karaoke rooms and a dance hall. Restaurants at the tops of the buildings look across the Masik Pass, while bars and lounges provide places to gather after activities. The hotel is used within organised itineraries that combine the resort with visits to Wonsan and other North Korean destinations.
