Matachica Resort & Spa occupies a beachfront setting five miles north of San Pedro on Ambergris Caye. The adults-only resort has 33 thatched casitas and villas, painted in bright colours and arranged among palms and sandy paths. Accommodation ranges from sea-breeze bungalows to seafront suites and larger villas. Jade Spa uses locally sourced ingredients such as papaya, banana and coffee in its treatments. Snorkelling and other excursions explore the reef and wider Belizean landscape.
