Matbaren is Mathias Dahlgren's contemporary bistro at Grand Hôtel in Stockholm. Opened in 2007, it serves medium-sized dishes shaped by seasonal ingredients, allowing a meal to develop through several plates. Ilse Crawford designed the interior, giving the room its own character within the waterfront hotel. The wine selection includes small growers, alongside access to the hotel's extensive cellar, with particular depth in Europe's classic regions. A private room within the cellar accommodates up to ten diners, and tailored wine tastings can be arranged. Lunch and dinner offer different opportunities to experience the changing menu.
