Matunuck Oyster Bar
Rhode Island

Matunuck Oyster Bar connects its seafood cooking with the shellfish farm in Potter Pond, where its own oysters are grown. The raw bar includes Rhode Island oysters, cherrystones, littleneck clams and shrimp, while herbs and vegetables also come from the business’s farm near the pond. Dining currently includes an outdoor tent on Succotash Road while the main restaurant is rebuilt. The menu continues to focus on local seafood, including lobster, mussels, scallops and clams. Oyster farm tours begin with an introduction to aquaculture before visiting the growing areas, giving diners a closer look at the source of the shellfish on their plates.
