Mayrig
Lebanon

Mayrig is an Armenian restaurant founded in Beirut’s Gemmayzeh district in 2003. Its name means mother, reflecting a kitchen rooted in recipes and food memories passed between generations. The cooking draws together Armenian traditions, Mediterranean influences and flavours associated with the Silk Road. The Beirut restaurant is the original home of a wider collection that has since expanded to other countries. Its emphasis remains on preserving and sharing Armenian culinary heritage through a varied meal, giving guests a distinct perspective on the food traditions woven into Beirut’s dining culture.
