Megu
India

Megu at The Leela Palace New Delhi presents modern Japanese cooking in a room that combines contemporary design with traditional motifs. A crystal Buddha and suspended bonsho bell form its most distinctive features, drawing inspiration from the Todaiji temple in Nara. The kitchen combines seasonal ingredients sourced locally with selected Japanese imports. Yellowtail carpaccio, shira-ae, salmon tartare and avocado tartare are among its signature dishes. An omakase experience places the progression of the meal in the chef’s hands, tailored to the guest’s palate. The outdoor Izakaya at Megu offers another format, built around shared plates and cocktails.
