Meritage is a French brasserie on Saint Peter Street in central Saint Paul, established by Russell and Desta Klein in 2007. Its kitchen combines classical French cooking with seasonal ingredients, while the oyster bar offers fresh oysters and other raw selections daily. A summer terrace extends the dining space outdoors. One of its distinctive experiences is duck à la presse, carved and pressed at the table using a restored antique press to make the sauce; advance arrangements are required. The wine collection exceeds 250 bins. The intimate Médoc Room hosts private dining, and the restaurant also offers wine education and oyster-shucking classes.
