Mestizo
Chile

Mestizo's Vitacura restaurant sits in Santiago's Bicentenario Park, pairing Chilean fusion cooking with a distinctive pavilion designed by architect Smiljan Radić. Dark concrete beams rest on large river boulders, while broad windows open the dining room towards the park. The menu highlights ingredients native to Chile, with dishes such as reineta ceviche. The restaurant also has a separate Barrio Italia address, whose concrete entrance, timber beams and courtyard lemon tree give it a different architectural character. The Vitacura branch remains closely connected to its park setting.
