Mika’s Restaurant at Coconuts Beach Club offers three distinct settings on Upolu’s southern coast: a spacious traditional Samoan dining room, the open-air Palm Terrace and tables on the sand. Guests can choose how close they want to be to the beach without changing restaurants. Named for Mike Pirics, whose Samoan name was Mika, the restaurant grew from his experience running restaurants in Hawaii. Its current approach combines fresh local ingredients with island-inspired cooking. The architecture and coastal position are central to the experience. A meal can take place beneath the roof of the Samoan dining room or outside under the evening sky, making Mika’s as much a place to settle into the resort’s surroundings as a practical dining option.
