Millennium Park is most rewarding when treated as a designed landscape rather than a single photograph of Cloud Gate. Walk between the reflective sculpture, the gardens and the performance spaces to appreciate how art and public life meet in the centre of Chicago. The park also works naturally with a visit to the Art Institute. We recommend allowing time simply to sit and observe, with the current event programme checked separately if you hope to include a performance.
