The restaurant at Moheli Laka Lodge supplies the meals for the lodge’s full-board stays, with the beach directly in front and the island’s local ingredients shaping the menu. Fresh fish and shellfish are central, combined with regional and international preparations rather than a fixed imported pantry. Menus can draw on mangrove crab, lobster, squid and tropical oysters, with coconut, island vegetables and fruit alongside plantain, cassava and breadfruit. Bread, pizzas and pastries are made in the lodge’s wood-fired oven. The all-day bar serves drinks including mojitos with limes and mint from the garden. Vegetarian, vegan and allergy requirements can be accommodated when discussed with the kitchen in advance.
