Mon Lapin is a restaurant and wine bar in Montreal's Little Italy, led by Vanya Filipovic and Marc-Olivier Frappier. Its name nods to Jura producer Jean-François Ganevat, who calls his friends 'mon lapin'. The cellar focuses on small producers, with natural wines forming a substantial part of the selection. The concise menu is built for sharing and changes with the market and seasons. Meat matured on site, fresh fish, house-made pasta and sorbets give a sense of its range. Zébulon Perron's dining-room design supports a lively, welcoming setting, where the changing food and artisanal wines give diners plenty of room to follow their own tastes.
