Monal Islamabad has begun a new chapter on the rooftop of Mall of IMARAT at IMARAT Downtown. Reopened in 2026 after leaving its original Pir Sohawa site, it brings the restaurant's familiar focus on food and views to a new urban address along Islamabad Expressway. The expansive rooftop setting makes the city itself part of the experience. The redesigned venue accommodates the family meals, celebrations and larger gatherings that have long been associated with the Monal name, now overlooking a different part of Islamabad. The menu remains broad, with Pakistani grills, biryani, karahi and handi dishes alongside Chinese, Thai and Western choices. Sharing platters combine kebabs, rice, bread and accompaniments, while vegetarian options include dishes such as palak paneer and lentils. For returning diners, the attraction is seeing a familiar restaurant reinterpreted in its new home. First-time visitors can use the varied menu to sample Pakistani favourites without committing the whole table to one style of cooking.
