Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
Golden Square Mile, Montréal, Canada
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts rewards a visit with room to wander. Québec and Canadian work sits within a wider collection that spans international art and decorative traditions, while temporary exhibitions add a changing reason to return. Select a few galleries or one major exhibition to explore closely rather than attempting the entire museum at speed. Check the current ticket arrangements before arriving, since popular exhibitions can require reservations, and leave time for the connections between different parts of the collection.
