Moss occupies the highest point at Blue Lagoon Iceland, within the Retreat hotel, with views across the volcanic landscape. Chef Aggi Sverrisson’s seasonal tasting menu takes inspiration from Iceland’s mountains, rivers and seas, presenting local ingredients through carefully composed courses. A dedicated vegan menu provides a parallel experience. Wine pairings include classic and prestige selections, with a non-alcoholic pairing also available. A subterranean wine cellar adds another element to the setting. The tasting format gives the kitchen room to follow seasonal produce rather than maintain a fixed collection of dishes.
