Mount Srđ and the Homeland War Museum

Mount Srđ places the walled city within its wider coastal setting, while Fort Imperial adds a more demanding historical dimension. The Homeland War Museum uses documents, photographs, maps, objects and recordings to interpret Dubrovnik during the conflict of 1991–1995. Allow time for that material alongside the view. The cable-car station is close to the fort, but transport and museum visits require separate planning; this works best as an intentional half-day rather than a hurried viewpoint stop.
